Great service, great vibe. The food was pretty good but nothing stunning. We didn’t feel full after 12 pieces of nigiri, either. But this is a pretty good price for omakase anyway.
We love this place! Visited for the second time last night and had a wonderful experience again! We always stay at the Claridge House which is how we first discovered it, but if you like sushi it's worth making the trip here. Actually, my husband isn't even a big sushi fan but he agreed to try it with me, and he couldn't believe how much he loved it. I can't believe he agreed to go a second time, and is already looking forward to our next trip back! I eat sushi all the time and this is an extra special treat. For someone like him who doesnt eat it regularly, it's a unique and special dining experience. It's a great way to try new things and see what you like, and you can add on more pieces at the end if you really liked something. Drinks and service are also incredible, the staff is all so kind and attentive and it's an upscale but fun and welcoming environment.
Came here for an omakase experience at an affordable price. Each sushi was delicious and definitely felt a bit dull afterwards. Would definitely come here again, or maybe check out their other locations.
Amazing little sushi bar! We did the chef’s tasting and it was incredible to watch him prepare each piece right in front of us. Everything was so fresh and served one at a time with real care. Chelsea and Madde behind the bar was fantastic. She picked drinks that matched my taste perfectly and made the whole night even better. Such a great, personal experience. Highly recommend!
1st time and was an amazing experience.. great attention the food was incredible. The combination of flavors, textures and temperatures was incredible. For any recommendations or suggestions ask Chelsea and if you can ask to dine with Chef Pau he will provide you a great service.
I have been here several times and it's always very very good!!!! Chef Poom and Jane are friendly and super gentle to serve me. This is the best omakase time i have ever had!
This is a great omakase experience, easily one of the most affordable ones in Chicago! The 12-course (65) and 17-course (100) options last about an hour; each piece of sushi is made to order and handed to you to eat. Scallop, fatty tuna, bbq eel, and salmon are the highest caliber nigiri money can buy. Sake flights (44) are a better choice than the cocktails, venue has a Great Gatsby-vibe to it at the back of the Claridge House. Classy place, recommended for serious sushi lovers only!
Had an amazing omakase experience with Chef Poom and Jane! The food was incredibly fresh, and each dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The attention to detail and presentation made it unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone who loves quality sushi!
